About Dr. Robyn Choi
Dr. Robyn is a NCCAOM board-certified and licensed acupuncturist in the state of New York and an active member of the Acupuncture Society of New York(ASNY) . She received her master’s and doctorate degrees in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health Sciences.
Her focus areas include pain, headache/migraines, stress-related conditions, chronic symptoms, and a wide range of women’s health concerns, such as fertility, menopausal symptoms, painful or irregular periods, and pregnancy support. Dr. Robyn works with all age groups, including pediatrics.
She sees that a broken connection with one’s own mind, body, and spirit leads to chronic physical and emotional ailments. She strives to re-establish that balance for her patients through the unique combination of Acupuncture, nutrition/herbal guidance, and mindfulness practices.
Drawing from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), her intuitive listening and palpation skills uncover imbalances within the body, mind, and spirit. She employs a gentle yet effective acupuncture style to alleviate physical and emotional pain, and her clients consistently share feelings of deep relaxation and renewed calmness following their treatments.
Since 2007, her practice experience has deepened her understanding of TCM. She is fascinated with the wisdom of this medicine and inspired to learn continuously.
Dr. Robyn approaches each session as a thorough investigator, asking the right questions to deeply understand your symptoms and identify the root cause of your concerns. This detailed approach, combined with her commitment to building trust and a strong rapport, ensures a collaborative partnership that is essential for achieving positive and lasting outcomes.
While deeply rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, she firmly believes in a holistic and integrative approach to health. She understands that acupuncture has its strengths and its limits, and she values the vital role Western medicine plays in comprehensive care. She’s committed to directing her patients to the most appropriate disciplines and practitioners when necessary, ensuring they receive well-rounded and effective treatment.
